The Manager's office has the responsibility for coordinating the activities of the Village departments by facilitating the work necessary to carry out the policies established by the Board. This coordination of activities of the departments strives to provide quality public services at the most cost effective basis.  The following is a list of the Village Departments under the direction of the Manager's Office:

  • Finance
  • Public Works
  • Development & Planning
  • Park & Recreation
  • Building & Zoning
  • Police
  • Fire

The Department also directs the functions within Human Resources for the Village. Human Resource functions include:

  • Pension administration
  • Liability
  • Health insurance administration
  • Employee benefits

In addition, the Manager coordinates the work of the Village Attorney to utilize his time most effectively while he is working with staff.  The Administration Department handles record management for the Village, including Deputy Village Clerk duties.

There are three staff positions included in the Manager's office: Village Manager Jason Slowinski, Assistant Village Manager Roy Witherow, and Human Resources Manager Doug Gibson.
