Fire Explorer Post # 343

Lake Zurich Explorer Post #343 is an emergency service explorer scout unit trained by the Lake Zurich Fire Department. The purpose of the Post is to expose young people, ages 14 through 21, to the fire service by teaching them the skills used in fire related careers and to build self-confidence and community pride.

The Post meets on specific Mondays year round from 6:30 to 9:30 PM. Members are trained in CPR, first-aid, forcible entry, auto extrication, fire suppression and other fire related activities.
