Paulus Park - Phase I
Paulus Park has recently received many improvements. With the assistance of a $400,000 Open Space Lands Acquisition and Development (OSLAD) matching grant from the Illinois Department of Natural Resources, Paulus Park has received many improvements in excess of $800,000.

Paulus Park - Phase II (Potential Improvements)
In July, 2008 an additional application for a $400,000 Open Space Lands Acquisition and Development (OSLAD) matching grant from the Illinois Department of Natural Resources was submitted for Phase II of the park improvements. The additional improvements would include a new playground, additional pathways, parking lot repair, new fishing pier/dock, new enlarged pavilion, new band shell, wetland/woodland restoration with a new wetland area board walk, upgrades to the concession/restroom building, additional sand volleyball court, and new access gates.

Staples Park
Staples Park has also received many improvements with the assistance of a $400,000 Open Space Lands Acquisition and Development (OSLAD) matching grant from the Illinois Department of Natural Resources.

Bristol Trails Park
The Park will soon be receiving many improvements with the assistance of a $239,200 Open Space Lands Acquisition and Development (OSLAD) matching grant from the Illinois Department of Natural Resources. The improvements would include a new playground, pathways, fitness par course stations, shelter/pavilion, basketball courts, and off road parking. These improvements are scheduled to start in early Spring of 2009 and be completed in the summer of 2009.

Quail Run Parks.
In 2008 we replaced playgrounds at;
Sparrow Ridge (~6MB),
Warwick, and
Chestnut Corners/Hunters Creek (~6MB) Parks.
In 2009 we replaced and installed playgrounds at
Buffalo Creek,
Old Mill Grove,
Orchards, and
Countryside East Parks.
